  1. At first approach the televisor is a legitimate antique, a "Model T" of television. It's only after a few moments that you realise it's not a real antique, but then, you continue to wish it were because you want to. At that moment it resolves into a refined Elizabethan "steampunk" form. Taken as a period piece, the case feels embellished to both trumpet the innovation of moving pictures in the parlor, and also to act as a distraction and compensation to the "primitive" state of the technology. The show is archival still images animated (Photoshop) to a frame rate reminiscent of the early silent film era featuring clockwork, grotesqueries and vaguely mythological beings on parade.
